Shawan M. Worsley, PhD, LMFT, LPCC, is a California-licensed marriage and family therapist and professional clinical counselor specializing in providing culturally-responsive counseling to clients with diverse identities. She earned her PhD in American Culture, with an emphasis in 20th Century African American Literature, History, and Identity Formation. She serves as an adjunct professor for Pacific Oaks College and as a subject matter expert for the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
